When you create a piece of artwork, you may automatically have intellectual property rights to certain design elements. Attorney and jeweler, Sarah Feingold, will provide you with helpful information concerning the types of intellectual property protection available to artists, how to obtain this protection and the rights you should take advantage of even if you choose to take no formal action to protect your intellectual property.
The seminar is around an hour long. A PowerPoint presentation will be used to illustrate the topics. Each attendee will receive a copy of the presentation and additional information including a form for obtaining U.S. copyright registration for a group of artwork.

Testimonials:
"Dear Sarah,
I want to thank you for presenting your lecture: Legal and Copyright Issues for Artists to the staff of
Studio 34 Creative Arts Center.
This is a timely topic, and rather complex to those of us without legal background. You organized a lot of information and presented it very clearly. Again, thank you for providing this needed
information to our staff, and doing so in such a clear, concise and informative way."
~ Marilynne Lipshutz
"I wanted to THANK YOU so sincerely for your excellent presentation to
our young people! It was clear how much time and effort you put into
it and I loved the songs. I was just telling someone about that the
other day and I can honestly say that I personally learned a lot. Other artists said the same. THANKS again, Sarah! I admire you and all
you do as an artist-lawyer!"
